One of Horizon Yacht Charters' Bavarias off Annapolis

Horizon Yacht Charters Annapolis, is launching its first summer season on the Chesapeake with a new owners’ incentive. Purchasers of one of the new Farr Yacht designed Bavaria Cruiser models are eligible for a credit of up to $50,000 when they place their yacht into the Horizon Yacht Charters Annapolis charter program which includes US and Caribbean placement options.

The flexible incentive program can be used to reduce the base price or to enhance the boat with additional fixtures and fittings. It can also be transferred to the charter program to set against brokerage fees, yacht servicing charges or the cost of transporting the yacht between the US and Caribbean bases. The introductory incentive expires on July 31, 2011.

Bavaria Yachts USA Launch Day

Last week our head office was a hive of activity as we officially launched in the USA with the splashing of our first shipment of yachts from Germany.

Their bottoms were barely wet before review teams from SAIL magazine, Cruising World and Blue Water Sailing headed to Annapolis to spend time on the water getting to know the new Bavarias designed by Farr Yacht Design and BMW Designworks USA.  You can see Charles Doane’s initial impressions in his blog “Meet the “Knik”.

Bavaria 32 and 36 sailing off Annapolis

Horizon Yacht Charters, Annapolis, in partnership with Bavaria Yachts USA, opened for business last weekend offering Chesapeake sailboat charters with a fleet comprising the Bavaria 32, 36 and 45 from the new 2011 Cruiser range. Based out of Yacht Haven Marina in Annapolis, Horizon Yacht Charters Annapolis offers bareboat and skippered charters.
