Successful premieres and awards for BAVARIA YACHTS at the Cannes Yachting Festival

BAVARIA YACHTS got off to a flying start at the Cannes Yachting Festival, where the German shipyard was represented with a total of eight motor and sailing yachts. Especially the world premiere of the BAVARIA C46 and the French premiere of the BAVARIA SR33 enthused the international visitors. The response to the BAVARIA C46 from customers and trade visitors alike confirmed that the sailing yacht is redefining the standards in her segment. All in all, an extremely successful debut. And the BAVARIA SR33 is also continuing on her successful course. In addition to very good customer feedback, the BAVARIA SR33 was voted “2023 Moteur Boat de l’Année” by the readers of the French magazine Moteur Boat and the international jury of the “Best of Boats Award” nominated the BAVARIA SR33 for the BOB Award.
The Yachting Festival in Cannes from September 12th to 17th was successful for BAVARIA YACHTS all along. Right at the start, BAVARIA YACHTS unveiled its new sailing yacht BAVARIA C46 in front of an enthusiastic audience - the BAVARIA C46 was a real visitor magnet throughout the boat show. Especially the successful combination of extremely generous space, an innovative and very balanced concept and attractive design convinced visitors of the BAVARIA C46 again and again.
“As a shipyard, you can only hope for such a premiere as for our new BAVARIA C46 in Cannes. To see how our BAVARIA C46 has virtually thrilled many customers makes us happy and confirms our work and direction of our sailing yachts developments”, reports Marc Diening, CEO of BAVARIA YACHTS. Almost at the same time, the BAVARIA C46 will be shown at the Southampton Boat Show, as well as the boat shows in Genoa, and in Barcelona in October.
The BAVARIA SR33 was awarded the “2023 Moteur Boat de l’ Année” in the category of motorboats over seven meters at the Cannes Yachting Festival. At the beginning of June, 30 readers of the French magazine Moteur Boat took a very close look at a total of 17 motorboats on two test days in Hyères. Following a defined checklist, the testers compared and evaluated all the different models. The BAVARIA SR33 with her safe and sporty handling and the sun lounger to the stern, which thanks to the retractable table becomes a terrace right on the water in no time, were some of the points that the readers particularly emphasised.
Another nomination for the BAVARIA SR33 was announced at the Yachting Festival in Cannes. The international jury of the “Best of Boats Award", BOB Award for short, nominated the BAVARIA SR33 in the “Best for Family“ category. The BAVARIA SR36 already won the BOB Award in this category in 2022. The BAVARIA SR33 will have to wait for the final decision until this year’s awards are presented at the BOOT & FUN boat show in Berlin.
